Community Service Event - Guilderland Food Pantry Thanksgiving Delivery Event
| Date/Time: | 11/21/2026 - Prior to 11:45 am | | Location: | Guilderland Food Pantry, 4 Charles Blvd Guilderland, NY 12084 | Event Details: We have an opportunity to provide support to the Guilderland Food Pantry on Saturday, November 21 for their Thanksgiving delivery event.
There are two phases. You can do both or just one. Please let Melissa Fiore and Jim VanBuren know what you can do.
1. Prior to 11:45 (exact time to be announced), pick up the food, that's already in bags, at the Guilderland YMCA and deliver those bags to the Guilderland Food Pantry.
2. Distribution to families - this will start at 11:45 am and we will need 8-10 drivers. The plan is to get the deliveries on the road before the Guilderland Food Pantry starts in person pickups.
The Pantry is looking for 8-10 drivers to pick up food from the Guilderland Food Pantry and deliver them to individual residents. Each driver will get one route with 4-6 meals to be delivered. The routes are batched so addresses are approximately in the same area. Delivery takes about 1 hour to complete.
