In Person Location: Marriott Hotel – 189 Wolf Road, Colonie, NY | Event Details: Join us for this information packed annual two-day hybrid Anti-Fraud Training Conference. You can choose to attend one or both days, either in person or virtual, and we offer a $25 discount if you register early.
Day one includes five presentations: beginning with a presentation of case studies from our local federal colleague, followed by a presentation from Jonathan Misskerg titled Applied Cryptocurrency Investigations. In the afternoon there are three presentations: a Fireside Chat with a Scam Victim presented by the team of Jacqueline Crenshaw and Shane Shoemaker, Students Fighting Fraud presented by the Justice For Victims Project at Siena University and Fraud Analytics with AI presented by John Aiken.
On day two, the morning will include a presentation by Jon Schwartz titled Elder Financial Exploitation - Through the Eyes of Financial Predators and a presentation by Bryan Richmond, Attorney in charge for Workers’ Compensation Fraud at the New York State Inspector Generals’ Office. The afternoon session titled Zoltar the Predictor on Fraud: Where Organic and Artificial Intelligence Meet, will be presented by Michael Dudley.
