DESCRIPTION

The New York Capital Chapter Association of Government Accountants is pleased to announce Part III of our Government Finance Series. The training for Part III will provide an overview of the GAAP Financial Reporting process and highlight the numerous relationships in the preparation effort for the GAAP financial statements and the State’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).

Participants should gain a clear understanding of the complexity of the process that takes place to collect, analyze and report information from a variety of sources in the timely issuance of the State’s GAAP Financial Statements. Hear from David Hasso, Director of State Financial Reporting in the Office of the State Comptroller and two of his key staff.
